Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessing that You have bestowed upon our dear brother, ###. Your Word tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning" (James 1:17 WEB). We acknowledge that this new job is indeed a gift from You, and we thank You for Your provision.
Lord, as ### prepares to start this new chapter on Wednesday, we ask for Your peace to envelop him. Your Word reassures us, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We pray that ### will be able to cast all his anxieties upon You, knowing that You care deeply for him.
Father, we also ask for Your strength and wisdom to be with ### as he embarks on this new journey. As You have said, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 WEB). May he draw strength from You and perform his tasks with excellence and confidence.
We pray for a smooth transition into his new role, that he may find favor with his colleagues and supervisors. Let Your presence be felt in every step he takes and every decision he makes. "The LORD is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1 WEB). May ### always remember that You are his Shepherd, guiding him and providing for him in every way.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace, and we place ###'s new job and his future in Your capable hands. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.
