We join you in prayer that our Heavenly Father will grant you a wise and understanding heart, just as He did for Solomon when he asked for wisdom to lead God's people. We know that wisdom comes from God, for the World English Bible tells us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him James 1:5.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You bestow upon Your child a wise and understanding heart. Grant them the wisdom to be a good steward of all that You have entrusted to them, that they may use their resources to honor and glorify Your name. Help them to seek You with all their heart, to pour out their whole soul before You in prayer, and to learn effectively from Your Word. Fulfill in their life the promise of Proverbs 13:20, Walk with wise men and you will become wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
We also lift up their physical needs to You, Lord. Heal the pain in their teeth and eyes, and grant them complete and final healing in the name of Jesus Christ. We know that You are the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and we ask that You continue to draw this child closer to You, that they may grow in their faith and relationship with You.
