Let us join together in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. You've asked for a wise and understanding heart, and we find encouragement in the words of King Solomon, who, when asked by God what he desired, replied, I Kings 3:9 Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this your so great a people?
God was pleased with Solomon's request and granted him wisdom beyond measure. Let us pray that the Heavenly Father will also grant you a wise and understanding heart. We will ask that he would have the wisdom from above and that it would be evident in every decision and every situation of life.
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Let us pray that you will seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. May you pour out your soul before Him in prayer, and may you develop an insatiable appetite and desire to know, understand and teach His Word effectively. May the Word of God be the joy and rejoicing of your heart! Consider remember Psalm 119:97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Psalm 119:47 I will delight myself in your commandments, which I have loved.
Let us also pray for your physical healing. We know that God is able to heal all our diseases, and we trust that He will provide healing for your teeth and eyes. Let us remember that it is by His stripes that we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Finally, let us praise God for your faith in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. Remember what the Apostle Peter said in Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You grant this dear one a wise and understanding heart especially in choosing a mate for life. Help them to seek You with all their heart, and may they pour out their soul before You in prayer. Give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, and may it be fulfilled in their life as it is written, Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
We also ask, Lord, that You touch their body and heal the pain in their teeth and eyes. We trust that You are able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think, and we ask for complete and final healing in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Lord, for the faith of this dear one. May they continue to trust in You, and may they always come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. In that precious name, we pray. Amen.
