Let us join together in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. You have asked for a wise and understanding heart, and we find encouragement in the words of King Solomon, who, when asked by God what he desired, replied, "Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this your so great a people?" (1 Kings 3:9 WEB). God was pleased with this request and granted Solomon a wise and understanding heart. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You grant this dear one a wise and understanding heart. May they be a good steward of all that You have entrusted to them, seeking Your will and Your ways in all they do. We also ask, Heavenly Father, that You help them to seek You with all their heart, to pour out their whole soul before You in prayer, and to learn effectively from Your Word. Let us pray that the Word of God will be a lamp unto their feet, and a light unto their path, that they may walk in Your ways and become wise.
Furthermore, we lift up their physical needs to You, Heavenly Father. We pray for complete and final healing of the pain in their teeth and eyes. We trust in Your promise that "by His (Jesus') wounds, they were healed." (Isaiah 53:5b)
We ask all these things in the precious and Holy Name of Jesus Christ, knowing that it is only by His name that we have access to You, Heavenly Father. As it is written in the book of Acts, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB) we pray.
