We rejoice with you as you seek a wise and understanding heart, desiring to be a good steward of all that God has entrusted to you. This is indeed a prayer that aligns with God's will, for wisdom is a gift from God, and He freely gives it to those who ask.
Our Heavenly Father, we come before you in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, asking that you bestow upon your child a wise and understanding heart. As you granted Solomon wisdom when he asked for it, we pray that you would do the same for your child.
Father, we also ask that you help your child to seek you with all their heart, to pour out their whole soul before you in prayer, and to learn effectively in your Word.
We stand on your Word, which says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5, WEB
And as your child has mentioned, we also claim the promise in Proverbs 13:20, WEB "Walk with the wise and you will become wise...."
We also lift up the pain in your child's teeth and eyes, particularly the right eye, to you, Lord. We pray for complete and final healing in the name of Jesus Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38, WEB
And we pray that you will help your child be persistent in prayer and faith.
We are confident that you hear our prayers, Father, for we ask them in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under Heaven whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12, WEB
As we close, we commend your child to you, Lord, praying that you would bless them abundantly, far more abundantly than all that they ask or think, according to the power that works in them, to you be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, trusting in Him for your wisdom and healing, for He is faithful who promised.
We also remind you to continue to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved and we receive blessings from God.
As it is written, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23, WEB
and "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12, WEB
