We understand that you're seeking wisdom and strength to handle a difficult situation, as well as the grace to forgive. Firstly, we would like to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"In Jesus we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace," (WEB)
In matters of conflict, God calls us to be wise and discerning, and to respond with love and forgiveness. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." And in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is facing a battle and seeking Your wisdom and strength. Grant them the discernment they need to navigate this situation, and the courage to stand firm in Your truth. Help them to remember that the battle is Yours, Lord, and that You are always with them, fighting on their behalf.
We also pray that You would fill their heart with forgiveness. Help them to release any bitterness or resentment, and to forgive as You have forgiven them. Give them Your love and compassion for those who have wronged them, and help them to see others through Your eyes.
Finally, Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around our ###. Guard their heart and mind, and give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them in Your will, and help them to glorify You in all they do.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, forgiveness does not mean what the other person did is acceptable, it means trusting God to be the judge and trusting God will provide the power to forgive.
