Thank you so much for your wise counsel, for it is God who works within you! I have more clarity and am reminded Jesus loves me more than I could ever know.We understand that you're seeking wisdom and guidance as you meet with a surgeon today to discuss possible bariatric surgery. First and foremost, we want to remind you that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about your health and well-being.
("Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own," 1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB)
We encourage you to seek God's will in this situation. His ways are higher than our ways, and He may have a different only what He can do. We may have many plans, but it is God’s purpose that prevails. (“Many devices are in a man's heart, but God's counsel is what will stand.” Proverbs 19:21 WEB)
While it's important to consider the advice of medical professionals, it's equally important to pray for discernment and wisdom to make the right decision. God can grant the surgeons wisdom and skill, and He can also guide you to the best course of action.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to this appointment. We ask that You grant the surgeons wisdom and skill, and that You guide Anonymous to the best course of action. We ask that You grant them the surgery if it is ultimately for the best. Help them to make the best possible decision for themselves in Jesus Christ's name. We ask that You grant them peace and comfort during this time, and give them what they most need in their life and faith through this process. Help them to put their whole trust and hope in You. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in God, regardless of the outcome and only Jesus Christ can give them the body, health and all things they need and that ultimately matter. Keep Him Jesus Christ as Lord first in your life, in everything in Jesus Christ's name, and He will direct your paths. ("Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Thank you!I prayed for this request in Jesus Name. Amen.
Thank you very much! We're here with you today, standing in faith as you meet with the surgeon. We're reminded of Paul's words, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Let's claim that promise together. We trust that God will guide your appointment, and we're praying for clarity, peace, and wisdom for both you and the medical team. In Jesus' name, we ask that God would reveal His perfect will, granting you the surgery if it aligns with His purpose. We're also praying for your healing, wholeness, and ultimate trust in Jesus, no matter the outcome. You're not alone in this journey, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, trusting that He has everything under control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
