We are deeply saddened to hear about Johan's losses and his current circumstances. Let us come together in prayer and wisdom, seeking God's will for Johan and his son.
Firstly, let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." We pray that Johan finds comfort in God during this difficult time.
As for wisdom, we turn to James 1:5 (WEB), "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that Johan seeks God's wisdom in his decisions, that he may know whether to stay or go back, and that God's will be done in his life.
Regarding his house sale and his son, we recall the words of Proverbs 22:3 (WEB), "The prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple pass on and suffer for it." We pray that Johan has the strength and discernment to make the right decisions about his property and his son, not giving in too easily, but acting with love and wisdom.
In all this, we must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage Johan to put his trust in Jesus Christ, and we pray that if he has not already, he will come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Johan to you, asking for your comfort, wisdom, and strength in his time of need. Guide him in his decisions, help him in his dealings with his son, and be with him as he processes his grief. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage Johan to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, we pray he acknowledges God, and that God will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
