Wisdom with something..the Bible states "As far as possible, be at peace with all men.""As far as possible". Now, let's say, if we live to be 95, meet all kinds of people{including ones that provoke us, even ones that know they're doing it but arrogantly don't care, and continue to do it...including those that attack things we hold dear...and including doing it in a disrespectful way...realistically speaking ,out of 95 years of life, and "running into" all kinds of people,if they say things we not only don't like but think are wrong,,is it possible , realistically speaking, to go through our whole lives without ever getting a little "irked with" each other?{I mean, not holding grudges, but to not get a little "riled up by" someone, or at least, refuting what they're saying?}Seeing as that we all "have our limits."So, is it possible to go from birth to death without ever getting a little "upset with" EVERYONE, considering our differences? The Bible DID say,"If possible".

It's not possible to go through life without being 'irked' by someone. But through Jesus our recovery time with respect to forgiveness, becomes quicker. What could have taken months or years to forgive someone, now through Jesus it takes less time. The more we are intune with Jesus, the quicker the resolution. It may even reach a time where it's almost seamless. There's very little time that goes by between offense to forgiveness. That's what I'm aiming for. If you let go, you let grow!

But what if they continuously do the disrespectful thing, after telling them you don't like it?How then?

It's not easy but necessary.
A variation of that question would be,"Is it posible that a Christian can go through their whole life without slipping into sin at some point, for example , be "perfect" this side of the glorified body? The Bible states, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God?""There is none righteous, no not one". If we say we have no sin,we are lying and the truth is not in us."That being said, after getting saved and "knowing better", is it possible to go through our walk with never backslidding, being perfect every step of the way,for years?Possible?

Paul declares in 1 Tim 1:15,

It is a true saying, in which all may put their faith, that Christ Jesus came into the world to give salvation to sinners, of whom I am the chief:
- Basic English Bible

Everyone sins, no ones perfect but through our faith in Jesus we have salvation. We are made perfect through His way, His truth, and His life.
Therefore we must all push onward in being like Jesus!

Was a little caught offguard by your name change, but to the sinning point, like the bumper stickers state,"Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven"

With the perfection issue, I was going to say something , in a humorous way, about a site member, but {if they read it} they would take it at face value and retort, so I'll hold my peace.I also saw during a post between me and them, a "chance" to make a remark tainted with humor, but knowing it wouldn't go over well with them,I passed on it. So for me, I've been not giving in to temptation and doing my part. That's my testimony.I guess even with humor we have to use discretion, if the person is an "uptight" person who takes everything literally."Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God."A few times I did like you, if I thought something was a little too "harsh"{in general, not directed at a specific person}I deleted it befoere finishing it.I was like"Nah."
