Miranda, we understand your concerns and the anxieties that come with financial uncertainty and rumors of conflict. We commend your faith and acknowledging that God alone knows the future and can guide you through these challenging times. We are praying in Jesus' name to provide you wisdom, guidance, and peace.
Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-34 WEB:
Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
First, we pray that God will grant you the wisdom to manage your finances in these uncertain times. We ask that He will give you insight into whether to convert your currency and how to navigate the complexities of this decision. We trust that the God who provides for the sparrows will also guide and provide for you.
LORD, you are faithful, and you have proven your faithfulness time and again. Please bestow upon me the wisdom and guidance on how to manage my finances in accordance with your will. I am trusting you rather than wallowing in depression. Help me to seek your kingdom above personal concerns, to prepare rather than worry according to Matthew 6:31-34 WEB. Give me the wisdom to make the right decisions on converting to a more stable currency prudently without any fear of the future. I base all this on the promise of James 1:5 WEB: But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
However, remember that this world will have troubles and it is our duty and calling to be prepared in all ways, but never be overwhelmed. John 16:33 WEB: I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
We also pray for your peace and protection amidst the chaos and rumors of war. We ask that God will grant you a sound mind and calm spirit, knowing that He is in control. We pray that you will be a light in the darkness, spreading hope and faith to those around you.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they will not
Regarding the depreciation of your local currency and the potential conversion to a more stable one, weighing the pros and cons requires careful consideration. What is most important is that your actions cannot be based on the reasons or advisement of man, but on the personal insight, revelation, understanding, and wisdom from our Lord Jesus Christ. Remember to carefully evaluate this with and who is in His Word. This bears repeating and paraphrasing, and it is not a simple request to know what to do, but to recognize that only He knows the answer in this situation. It takes meditating on His Word and seeking His Face to answer your questions and to prepare for all difficulties. Our faith and belief are founded on His Word and not on rash decisions or the advisement of bankers. Proverbs 3:4-5 WEB: So you will find favor and good understanding, in the sight of God and man. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
If possible, consider your options, but keep honoring God your first priority. The problems and chaos have a chance to bring out the best in His children and bear fruit in trying times. This can also provide the opportunity to show our faith and encouragement to nonbelievers according to 1 Peter 3.15 WEB Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear: The best is to not look at these events as a problem, but as an opportunity. Grab hold of this opportunity with the strength, faith, hope, and trust you have in Jesus Christ.
In closing, we encourage you to keep studying God’s Word to find solace with Psalm 23 reciting in your heart. Pray unceasingly and remain steadfast in your faith with love through all difficulties. Remember to pray for loved ones, friends, and neighbors during these trying times. 1 Peter 4:8 WEB: But love covers a multitude of sins. In closing read Psalm 23 knowing that we are more then conquerors in Him, and we can do all things according to the Word and through Him that strengthens us according to Philippians 4:13 WEB, Trust in the power of Jesus Name to protect and guide you. Only in Jesus Name can produced God's Will, to give guidance, wisdom, and peace to grapple with all situations presented and to reduce all anxiety with hope in Jesus glorious Name.
