Let us first acknowledge and thank Jesus Christ, our only mediator for the answers to our prayers and for Megan's success in her exam last week. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Let us remember that God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. The Bible says in First Timothy 2:3-6 (WEB),
"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times."
Let us also remember Jesus' words in John 14:6 (WEB),
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
As we continue to pray for Megan, we ask Jesus to fill her with wisdom, knowledge, favor, peace, joy, and strength as she pursues her studies. We also pray for healing in her body, specifically from POTS and the injury to her ankle. We rebuke the spirits of infirmity and pain, and we trust in Jesus' healing power.
The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15 (WEB),
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We also pray for God's provision for Megan, including a reliable car and godly friends and mentors who will support and encourage her. We pray for God's protection and guidance in her career path and in all areas of her life. As she continues to grow in her faith, we pray that God will prepare her for a godly spouse. Let us not forget, the Bible tells us in First Corinthians 6:18 (WEB),
"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Regarding Megan's future spouse, let us remember the Bible's teachings on marriage and relationships. God designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we pray that Megan will find a spouse who shares her faith and commitment to God.
The Bible says in Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB),
"Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless, each one of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
We trust in Jesus' name that Megan and her family will experience peace, love, and unity that surpasses all understanding. We pray for God's protection and blessings on all the prayer warriors and their families.
Heavenly Father, we humbly come before You, asking for Your continued blessings and guidance for Megan and her family. We pray for healing and a blessed week ahead, and we trust in Your promises. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
