We understand that you are seeking wisdom and the severing of ties with bad influences and friends in Vuyo's life. We also recognize your desire for Vuyo to complete his school tasks and exams, and to become the son he is meant to be.
Let us first address the matter of severing ties with bad influences and friends. The Bible tells us in First Corinthians 15:33, Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals. It is crucial for Vuyo to surround himself with people who will uplift him and encourage him to live a life pleasing to God. We pray that God will give Vuyo the wisdom and strength to distance himself from those who may be leading him astray.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Vuyo in prayer. Lord, we ask that You would sever all ties with bad influences and friends in his life. Surround him with godly companions who will encourage him to live a life pleasing to You. Grant him the wisdom to discern the right paths and the strength to walk in them.
We also pray for Vuyo's academic pursuits. Lord, give him the focus and dedication to complete his school tasks and exams. Guide his mind and help him to understand and retain the information he needs to succeed.
Father, we ask that Vuyo would become the son he is meant to be. Guide him in Your truth and teach him Your paths. Help him to grow in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with You and with man.
Lord, we also pray for Vuyo's salvation, that he would come to know You personally if he does not already. Help him to understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Romans 10:9, because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Vuyo is in our prayers, and we encourage him to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. We also encourage him to be obedient to his parents in the Lord, for this is right, Ephesians 6:1.
Lastly, we want to encourage you, Balmikos, to continue praying fervently for Vuyo. The Bible tells us in James 5:16, that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Keep trusting God for Vuyo's transformation, and believe that God is working in his life.
