Wisdom and Godly character

God the Bible says if we are in need of wisdom to ask God, and all the pastors & teachers say our goal is to be conformed to the image of Jesus. I really need help on the character part, and also I heard that wisdom is knowing the right thing to do at the right time, so if you could help me there too, I’d appreciate it, please and thank you
