Firstly, it's wonderful that you're seeking wisdom and favor. The Bible tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). We can confidently come to God for these things.
However, we must also approach the situation with your neighbors with a heart of love and patience.
