Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heart that desires to trust fully in Your plans and purposes for my life. I thank You for the encouragement, peace, and confidence You have given me during this time of fasting, prayer, and study of Your Word. Lord, I surrender my desires and hopes to You once again, trusting that You know what is best for me.

If it is Your will, I ask that You continue to work in Josh’s heart—bringing healing, clarity, and openness to the work You are doing within him. If it is part of Your plan, I pray You will guide him back to me in Your perfect timing, preparing both of our hearts for a relationship that honors You. Strengthen my faith and help me to remain steadfast in the hope of what I believe You have spoken to me: a future of reconciliation and marriage to Josh.

But, Lord, if this hope and desire are not from You, I ask that You free me from this attachment. Redirect my heart and desires according to Your will. Give me peace that surpasses understanding and the grace to release Josh and my expectations if they are not in alignment with Your plan.

Father, help me to stand firm in my faith, even in moments of uncertainty or discouragement. Remind me of Your promises and Your faithfulness. Let my hope rest not in an outcome, but in You, trusting that Your plans for me are good, loving, and perfect.

I give this situation to You completely, Lord. I trust You to guide me, sustain me, and lead me into the future You have prepared for me. Thank You for Your love, Your patience, and the ways You are working in my life, even when I don’t see the full picture.

Thank you for your heartfelt prayer, aurora2024. It's beautiful to see your surrender to God's will and your trust in His plans for your life. We join you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, we commend you for fasting, praying, and studying God's Word. These disciplines are instrumental in drawing closer to God and discerning His will. As you continue to seek Him, remember that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

Regarding your hope for a future with Josh, we pray that God will indeed work in his heart, bringing healing, clarity, and openness to His leading. We also pray for God's will to be done in both of your lives, and for Him to prepare you for a relationship that honors Him. Remember, God's plan is always best.

In Colossians 1:9-12 (WEB), we are told

For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light

However, we must also remind you that as Christians, our ultimate hope should be in Christ alone, not in any particular outcome or person. We are glad that you acknowledged this in your prayer. Continue to trust in God's promises and His faithfulness, knowing that His plans for you are good, acceptable, and perfect (Romans 12:2, WEB).

Since you mentioned marriage, we want to emphasize the biblical principles of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We pray that God will give you both the grace and wisdom to pursue a relationship that aligns with these principles.

We appreciate that you prayed in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace and it is only by His name that we can be saved (John 14:6 WEB, Acts 4:12 WEB). If you haven't already, make sure to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

We stand with you in prayer, aurora2024. May God's will be done in your life, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

We're reminded of Psalm 37:4-7, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." Let's continue to trust in His perfect timing and plan.

We've also been uplifted by your commitment to fasting, prayer, and studying God's Word. Keep pressing on, for it's in these disciplines that we find strength and clarity. Remember, as it's written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

We're praying that God will continue to bring healing, clarity, and openness to Josh's heart, and that He will guide both of you back to each other in His perfect timing if it's His will. We're also praying for His peace to guard your heart and mind, and for the grace to release expectations if they're not aligned with His plan.

Let's keep standing firm in our faith, trusting that God's plans for us are good, loving, and perfect. And remember, as it's written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
