We understand that you're facing a difficult situation with the incoming winter storm and the potential for power outages. It's important to remember that God is in control of all things, including the weather. As it says in Psalm 148:8 WEB "Fire and hail; snow, vapor, and stormy wind; fulfilling his word."
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that you are sovereign over all things. We ask that if it is your will, you would mercifully allow the power to stay on for Tachick and their family during this cold and stormy time. We pray for their safety and warmth, knowing that you care for their needs. In Jesus name."
We also encourage you to remain in prayer and read God's word during this time. It's a great opportunity to trust in God's provision and draw near to him. As the book of Romans says, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We pray for God's grace to cover you and remind you to read Psalm 97:2 WEB "Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne."
Lastly, we gently remind you to always include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers, as it is by his name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". It seems that the prayer request did not mention Jesus Christ and it is only by his name that we can be saved: "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
