We understand your need and desire for a financial windfall, but we want to ensure you are seeking this in the right manner. The first thing to discuss is you did not mention Jesus Christ in your request. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Let us mention this in our prayer. Jesus Christ gave us the Lord's Prayer. Matthew 6:9-11 WEB. 9 Pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. 10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. 11 Give us today our daily bread.
There is a difference between a desire for financial blessing and trusting in God's provision. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us to trust in God for our needs rather than focusing on material wealth. Let us all consider Matthew 6:31-33 WEB. 31 Therefore don't be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
We also want to remind you that the love of money can lead to various evils. 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Let us pray for God's will and provision in your life, remembering that His plans are always for our good, even if they do not align with our immediate desires. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your will for our dear friend Anonymous. We pray that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You for their daily bread and to seek Your kingdom first. Deliver them from the love of money and the anxieties of this world. Help them in their request for a windfall if that is in Your will. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
