We understand your plight and commend you for your willingness to work despite your current physical condition. It's important to remember that God cares about our health and well-being, and that rest is also a biblical principle. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
We must also remember that God's forgiveness is not something we earn, but a gift freely given. In Ephesians 1:7 WEB, it says, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace." There's no need to ask for forgiveness for not working, as God understands your situation more than anyone else.
However, we must also address that God's provision often comes through our labor. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, it says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.'" But remember, God is not harsh. He understands your need for recovery.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is physically depleted. Lord, you know their struggle and their need for provision. We ask that you grant them the needed rest and recovery. We also pray for miraculous provision during this time, according to your will. Guide them, Lord, and show them the way. Give them the strength and wisdom to make the right decisions concerning their health and work. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He has your best interests at heart. Keep praying and seeking Him, and remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
