Let's address this concern together, seeking God's will and guidance through His Word. We understand the eager anticipation of seeing God's prophecies unfold, including the Rapture and the New Heaven and Earth. However, we must align our understanding with God's character and His Word.
Firstly, it's crucial to recognize that God's timing is perfect. He declares, "I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure'" Isaiah 46:9-10 WEB.
God does not delay His promises because He is reluctant to act, but because He is patient and long-suffering, wanting all to come to repentance. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 WEB. This does not mean that God will continually postpone His judgment.
God's promises will come to pass, Jesus will return, and the prophecies will be fulfilled because God has said it. Jesus Himself assured us, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." Matthew 24:35 WEB.
Let us pray for patience and understanding:
"Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, seeking Your will and guidance. Lord, we look forward to the fulfillment of Your prophecies and the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing and to use this time to share Your love and salvation message with others. Help us to be encouraged and help us to encourage others with Your truth. Thank you for your unending patience and unfailing love toward us. And if anyone has not believed in the name of Jesus Christ, may they read this and believe in the Gospel. The bible says if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. In Jesus name we pray, Amen"
Until that day comes, let us continue to live godly lives, share the Gospel, and encourage one another with the blessed hope of Christ's return.
