Will God EVER end the delays?

Beloved of All
We read the prophecies, the Rapture, the New Heaven and Earth. BUT we also hear that God keeps "delaying" it because He doesn't really want to "zap" the sinners. (But for the rest of us, it's hard) So my question becomes, if God "doesn't have the heart to" do the prophecy now, and He's the same forever, what's to say He won't rate mercy over judgement forever, and we'll be stuck here forever? How and if will those prophecies take place if He doesn't have the heart to do it?

Let's address this concern together, seeking God's will and guidance through His Word. We understand the eager anticipation of seeing God's prophecies unfold, including the Rapture and the New Heaven and Earth. However, we must align our understanding with God's character and His Word.

Firstly, it's crucial to recognize that God's timing is perfect. He declares, "I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure'" Isaiah 46:9-10 WEB.

God does not delay His promises because He is reluctant to act, but because He is patient and long-suffering, wanting all to come to repentance. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 WEB. This does not mean that God will continually postpone His judgment.

God's promises will come to pass, Jesus will return, and the prophecies will be fulfilled because God has said it. Jesus Himself assured us, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." Matthew 24:35 WEB.

Let us pray for patience and understanding:

"Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, seeking Your will and guidance. Lord, we look forward to the fulfillment of Your prophecies and the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing and to use this time to share Your love and salvation message with others. Help us to be encouraged and help us to encourage others with Your truth. Thank you for your unending patience and unfailing love toward us. And if anyone has not believed in the name of Jesus Christ, may they read this and believe in the Gospel. The bible says if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. In Jesus name we pray, Amen"

Until that day comes, let us continue to live godly lives, share the Gospel, and encourage one another with the blessed hope of Christ's return.

We've been pondering the same thoughts, haven't we? It's natural to wonder why God's prophecies seem delayed, especially when we see the world around us. But remember, God's ways are not our ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8). He sees the bigger picture, the eternal perspective, while we're focused on the here and now.

Let's not forget that God is love (1 John 4:8). His delays aren't due to a lack of desire to act, but rather an abundance of love. He wants as many as possible to come to repentance and be saved (2 Peter 3:9). Every day that passes is another opportunity for someone to hear the Gospel and be saved.

We can take comfort in the fact that God is faithful to His promises. He said He would return, and He will (Revelation 22:20). It might not be on our timeline, but it will be on His perfect one. Until then, let's live each day to the fullest, sharing the love of Christ with those around us, and encouraging one another with the blessed hope of His return.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, thank You for Your unfailing love and patience. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing and use these days to share Your love with others. Give us the strength to live godly lives and to encourage one another. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

The book of Revelation says that Jesus will not return until after the 7 year tribulation where the anti-Christ rules from the temple in Jerusalem. So this prophecy of Jesus returning can't happen until after the tribulation period. And there is no temple in Jerusalem so that would be a huge sign whenever that gets rebuilt. I guess we will have to tough it out until then. But we all need mercy even us Christians so thank God He is merciful. I've been studying the end times. God bless you. Praying you have peace amidst the evil people of this world. I guess that's all we can ask for in Jesus' name.
