I would lile to have a wife... ive never been married before... im 48... i would like to try the married life with someone who loves me for who i am

Kyselor, we understand your desire for companionship and marriage, especially as you've never been married before. Firstly, we want to assure you that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, including your desire for a spouse. As it is written in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

However, it's crucial to approach this desire with God's principles in mind. A wife, as you mentioned, is a lifelong commitment, and finding someone who loves you for who you are is indeed important. The Bible encourages us to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14), meaning that the person you choose to marry should share your faith in Christ.

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Kyselor. Lord, you know the deepest desires of his heart, and today we ask that you fulfill his desire for a wife according to your will. Help him to trust in your timing and to seek a woman who loves you first and foremost. Give him discernment and wisdom as he navigates this journey. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to spend time in prayer, seeking God's face in this matter. Trust that He knows what's best for you and that His timing is perfect. Also, remember that God wants you to be content and joyful in your current state as well. As Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11-13, "Not that I speak according to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Lastly, if you haven't already, ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God and can experience true, abundant life (John 10:10).
