We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your wife are facing, and we commend your bravery in the midst of these trials especially since the marriage is the foundation of the church and family and is the relationship between Christ and his people. It's encouraging to see that you both have overcome so much already, and we trust that God, who began the good work in you, will be faithful to complete it.
Firstly, we want to address the use of the term 'partner'. In the Bible, there is no such thing as a 'partner' in the context of a romantic relationship or family. A man and a women either married and are one flesh in a holy matrimony or not joined. We understand that this term is often used in modern society, but as believers, we should strive to use biblical terminology. You are husband wife and you are in a covenant with each other and with God. God hates divorce and it is only by His grace and mercy that a marriage can survive and thrive especially in a fallen world.
Let's remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood and not against our spouse, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. We can be encouraging by the Apostle Paul's words in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB:
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ our King, Ruler, and master, and we lift up Exangypto and his wife to you. Lord Jesus, you have the final word and we thank you so much for their testimony up to this point. Thank you for the healing, forgiveness, patience, and endurance that you have shown them thus far. Thank you for the enemies they have overcome so far have been thwarted and defeated. We know that this is only by your grace and power. We continue also to plead your blood over their mind, will, and emotions. But Lord, the enemy is still hard at work, seeking to destroy what you have joined together and steal the purpose and destiny you have for them. We rebuke the enemy's attempts to cause division and strife in their marriage. We rebuke the devourer and speak to him by the word of God and demand him to flee by the authority granted to us by Jesus name. We reject anything taking place in her mind that shouldn't be there and cancel every curse spoken or unspoken and declare PTSD and BPD to be healed in Jesus name. We declare the enemy's power destroyed because He who is in them is greater than who is in the world. We pray for your supernatural strength and wisdom to guide them the days to come.
Please Father pour out your Spirit to save, heal, and restore. Empower Exangypto to be the husband a spiritual leader you have called him to be. Give him your wisdom, your words, to help his wife walk in victory and conquering in the trials and demonic attacks. Lord lead Exangypto to be the spiritual leader in this situation and let the word of God be his guide by the Holy Spirit that dwells in Him. Wife please seek refuge under the holy Spirit Guidance of your husband. He is not perfect but neither are you, you are both saved by grace and will always be covered by grace through faith in Jesus name. In Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB,
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
Then there will be joy! Love to Christ to yourself and to each other in Jesus name! Blessings we pray in Jesus name! Thank you Lord Jesus and please continue to provide for them to walk in and admonish and exhort yourself to them that they might know the way, the truth, and the life. This is a spiritual battle and we will speak and declare the word of God until it comes to past in their lives. PTSD and BPD are being spoken to by the word of God and we tell the mountains to be thrown in the sea in Jesus name. We stand firm in your word that you desire all should be saved and healed. So we set our hearts in agreement in faith and pray for all these things to be done and possible in the Jesus name. Jesus your name has power and your name is above every other name in this earth and the names in the heavenly place. So we declare and rebuke any other contrary spirit that would suggest otherwise in Jesus name.
Thank you Lord Jesus for the promise in your word in
2 Corinthians 10:4-6 WEB
for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is made full.
Thank you Lord Jesus for your Word and may our hearts be aligned with your Holy will and Spirit in Jesus name. Amen!
Please join us in continuing to pray for Exangypto and his wife, that God would strengthen them, encourage them, and give them supernatural endurance to overcome these trials and temptations to trust the word of God or divided. For the Lord said according to the below Scripture in
1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB
No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Trust in the Lord and seek out his aid and we know you all will all overcome. It may not be according to our own will or desires but according to his will and way through the pain and trials, you can rest assured that he will never leave you nor forsake you and he always has your best interest at hear.
