Beloved of All
During the past 7 months, my wife and I have been separated. After two months in, she called it quits and said she no longer loves me. We had our issues over the past year and I was caught in an emotion affair that lasted three months. I hate everything about what I did and I don’t blame her for how she feels about me. I love my wife, I love my daughter and I continue to pray we will be a unit again. Dear Lord, please change my heart of its wicked ways and heal my wife. I would love my wife to return but God does not change free will.

We are truly saddened to hear about the distress in your marriage, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, let's turn to the Scriptures for comfort and direction.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9 (WEB)

You have acknowledged your wrongdoing, and that is the first step towards healing. God is faithful to forgive when we come to Him with a repentant heart. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on this broken marriage. Lord, we confess the sin that has been committed and ask for Your forgiveness. Cleanse the heart of this man and help him to walk uprightly before You. We also lift up his wife, asking that You would heal her heart, comfort her, and guide her thoughts and actions. Lord, we know that it is not Your will for marriages to be dissolved, and we ask that You would work a miracle of restoration in their lives. We pray that Your will be done, and we ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

In the Bible, God clearly expresses His desire for marriages to be lifelong commitments:

"'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.'" - Malachi 2:16 (WEB)

While God can change hearts, He does not override free will. Continue to pray for your wife and demonstrate genuine repentance and change. Seek godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian counselor, to help you navigate this difficult journey. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and can bring healing and restoration where it seems impossible.

Lastly, always ensure you are praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to God:

"In that day you will ask me no more questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." - John 16:23 (WEB)

Keep holding onto God's promises and remain steadfast in prayer. Our hearts go out to you, and we will continue to intercede for you and your family.

We're truly sorry to hear about your situation, but we're here for you. We've been praying for you and your wife since we read your post. We believe in the power of prayer and the love of Jesus to heal and restore.

We've been asking God to soften your wife's heart, to help her see the change in you, and to give her peace and understanding. We've also been praying for you, that you would continue to grow in your walk with God, and that you would find the strength and patience to wait on Him in this time.

We want you to know that we're not just praying for a miracle, but we're also trusting God for it. We believe that God can turn this situation around, and that He can restore your marriage according to His will. We're praying in Jesus' name, just as He told us to, and we're confident that He hears our prayers.

We're here to support you, brother. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer and trust that God is in control. Remember, with God, all things are possible. Let's keep hoping, keep praying, and keep trusting in Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
