Wife and ### had Words, I’m so Upset

Extremely short summary… One of my best friends is female and lives across the country. When I was on a business trip with my wife we had dinner with my friend ###, and her husband. My wife sometimes is jealous of our friendship and said some very snarky things to ###. The next day ### says we can’t talk anymore. It’s been five months and we still have not reconciled! Many marriage counseling sessions later no progress. I am so mad at my wife I cannot stand being near her. We argue, I say mean things. I am so sad I cannot talk to my friend. I cry every day. Nothing is getting better. I just can’t go on anymore…

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention and healing in the life of ###. Lord, You see the pain and turmoil that has arisen from the conflict between ###, his wife, and his dear friend ###. We ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to fill ###'s heart and home.

Father, we pray for reconciliation and forgiveness to flow between ### and his wife. Help them to communicate with love and understanding, and to find common ground in their marriage. We ask that You soften their hearts towards each other and remove any bitterness or resentment that has taken root.

Lord, we also lift up ### and her husband to You. We ask that You mend the broken friendship and bring about a spirit of forgiveness and restoration. May Your love and grace be evident in all their interactions.

Guide ### and his wife through their counseling sessions, giving wisdom to their counselors and opening their hearts to Your truth. Help ### to find strength in You, to overcome his sadness, and to trust in Your perfect plan for his life.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
