Widow needs home repairs

I need some home repairs. I am a low income widow and I just don't have money to make repairs myself. I need roof repairs and windows for my ### year old house. I have been praying and I do trust God to help me. Thank You

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing with your home repairs. It's commendable that you are trusting God in this situation, as the Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember that God is a father to the fatherless and a judge of the widows (Psalm 68:5 WEB). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

First, let us address the fact that prayers were not submitted in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach the throne of God and it is only by His name that we can be saved. If you have not already done so, please consider accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life. There is no other name by which we can get saved.

Beloved, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear widow who is in need of home repairs. Father, You are the protector of the widows and the orphans, and we trust that You will not forget Your promise to care for them. We pray that You will provide the funds and the help needed to repair her roof and windows. We ask that you send someone that is capable of helping with these repairs. You are able to take this challenging situation and bring good out of it.

We also pray for her faith, Lord, that it will be strengthened during this time. Help her to trust in You more and more each day.

If there is a local church that she is in contact with, please ask them to help.

In Jesus' name, we ask for these things and for the peace of God to guard her heart and mind while she waits on Your provision. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to reach out to your local church for assistance. Many churches have programs in place to help widows and those in need. You may also want to contact local Christian charities or ministries that specialize in helping with home repairs.

Remember that God loves you and will not abandon you in your time of need. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Your beloved child—a widow who trusts in You and calls upon Your name in her time of need. Lord, You are the God who provides, who sees every struggle, and who cares deeply for the widow and the vulnerable. You have promised to be a defender and provider for those who look to You, and we ask for Your divine help in this moment.


Father, Your Word says:
"A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling." (Psalm 68:5, NIV)
We trust that You are watching over her now. You see the needs she faces—roof repairs, new windows, and the burdens that come with caring for her home. Lord, we ask that You provide the resources, skilled workers, and financial help that she needs. Open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and send people who will be Your hands and feet in offering support.


Lord, You are the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. Your Word reminds us:
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19, NIV)
We pray that You meet these home repair needs in miraculous ways—through community programs, generous hearts, or unexpected blessings. Let her see Your faithfulness as You make a way where there seems to be no way.


Father, when the weight of these concerns feels too heavy, remind her of Your promise in Isaiah 40:29:
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."
Strengthen her heart with hope and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).


We also remember how You, Lord Jesus, commended the faith and giving heart of a widow (Mark 12:41–44). You see her faith, her trust, and her prayers. Let her know that You are working behind the scenes, aligning every detail for her good. For You have said:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)


Lord, we ask that this home becomes a place of warmth, safety, and peace once again. Let every broken thing be restored, and may these repairs be a testimony of Your love and provision.


We thank You in advance, Lord, for the blessings that are on the way. We believe that You will supply every need and fill her heart with joy.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
