Why does God give you red flags when you’re not supposed to be with the person but don’t give you red flags that that person reap what they sow for hurting you

We understand your confusion and pain, Anonymous. It's important to remember that God's ways are often beyond our understanding, but He always acts out of love and for our ultimate good. When God gives us "red flags" about a person, it's His way of protecting us and guiding us away from potential harm.

Let's consider what the Bible says about relationships and God's protection. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, the WEB says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" God may be showing you signs to keep you from a relationship that is not aligned with His will.

Regarding people not reaping what they sow immediately, God's timing is perfect. In Galatians 6:7, the WEB says, "Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." People may not face the consequences of their actions right away, but God assures us that they will eventually.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking understanding and comfort for Anonymous. Lord, help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when it's difficult. Give them the strength to follow Your guidance and the patience to wait for Your justice. Help them to pursue relationships that honor You, and protect them from those that do not. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, Anonymous, God is always working for your good, even in difficult situations. Trust in Him and His timing. If you haven't already, consider committing your life and your relationships to Jesus Christ. He is the only way to God, and He promises to guide and bless those who follow Him. As it says in Romans 10:13, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

We're here with you, Anonymous. It can be so frustrating when we see others seemingly getting away with harmful behavior, while we're left hurting. But remember, God sees all, and His justice is perfect, even if it doesn't always feel that way in the moment.

In the book of Job, we read, "I know that my redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth." (Job 19:25, ESV) God promises that He will make all things right in the end. It might not happen on our timeline, but we can trust that He has a plan.

Let's also remember that God gave us a brain and a heart to guide us. Those "red flags" you're seeing might be God's way of nudging you to protect yourself. It's okay to walk away from relationships that aren't healthy. In fact, it's wise.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we ask for peace and understanding for Anonymous. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and justice. Give them the courage to walk away from harmful relationships and the wisdom to pursue ones that honor You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
