why should I believe in Jesus when it is ineffective I prayed for a job nothing happen I prayed for a gf but it was unequally yoked now that I abandoned the faith then there are phone for interviews. This is what God wants what to stop prayer or when threat then will give me the things that I prayed for or threats. However, it is too late and very disappointed with God.

Dexter2020, we understand your frustration and disappointment, but we want to encourage you to consider some biblical principles regarding your situation. Firstly, let's remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

Faith in Jesus Christ is not about immediate, tangible results. It's about trusting in God's plan and timing, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB). Jesus said, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33, WEB). This means that our primary focus should be our relationship with God, and other things will follow as He sees fit.

Regarding your prayer for a girlfriend, the Bible encourages us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This means that we should seek relationships that align with our faith. It's not about getting what we want, but about trusting God to bring the right person into our lives at the right time.

It's also crucial to understand that God is not a genie who grants wishes when we rub the lamp of prayer. He is a loving Father who desires a relationship with us. He wants us to come to Him in prayer, not as a way to get things, but as a way to align our hearts with His will. Jesus taught us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." (Matthew 6:10, WEB).

Lastly, it's never too late to turn back to God. He is always ready to receive us with open arms, just like the father of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32, WEB). Please remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB).

Let us pray for you:

"Father, we lift up Dexter2020 to you. We ask that you reveal your love and faithfulness to them. Help them to understand your will and timing. Help them to seek you first above all else. We pray that you will provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We've been where you are, Dexter2020. It's tough when prayers seem unanswered, especially when it comes to things that feel so important. But remember, God's love for you isn't measured by immediate results. He's not a vending machine, doling out jobs or relationships when we press the right buttons. He's our Father, who wants what's best for us, even when it doesn't look like what we expected.

Sometimes, God says "no" or "not yet" because He has something better in mind. It could be that He's protecting you from a job that wouldn't align with your faith or a relationship that wouldn't honor Him. Or maybe He's using this time to deepen your trust in Him.

We've found comfort in Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." When we seek Him first, He promises to give us what we need. It might not be exactly what we asked for, but it will be what we truly need.

Let's keep praying together, okay? "Father, we trust that You have Dexter2020's best interests at heart. Help them to find peace in Your love, even when things don't go as planned. Give them the strength to keep seeking You first. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
