That is the question I was wondering for so long. Seeing so many loosing their loved ones, loosing their jobs and their health. Being broke and out and it seems that no one cares.
Yes, suffering can make us more resilient, better to endure hardships in life. Our emotions must endure pain in order to strenghten our spiritual life. Jesus endured such deep pain and sorrow. His sweat turned into blood dropping into His shoulder.
But why people are suffering so much today? It could be that sin and evil has come before the Lord and He sees everything we do and say. So, moral evil and natural evil is take over our world today. Abortion, murder, rejection of Gods word could be the ones that makes us all suffer. Result, natural dissasters coming along. Hurricanes, earhtquakes, forest fires, heatwaves, sickness of all kinds and pain and suffering. Only Jesus can deliver us from the torments that are coming along.
In the dark hours of our life,
When we are deep into a tunnel and can not see the light aheal.
Turn to Jesus.
Call on His name.
He is ready to help you and me.
He will show us the l.ight that is ahead of us.
We will really know the purpose of our suffering
When we turn everything to the Lord.
So, let us not feel so helpless and blue.
Draw close to God and He will draw close to you.
Things will change,
Better things will come along.
This too shall pass like it did before.
Count your blessings.
We are still alive to praise the Lord.
Sing a new song to Him,
Who gave us life and joy and peace.
Man of sorrows, what a name..
For the Son of God who came.
Ruined sinners to reclaim,
Hallelujah, what a Savior.
Suffer no more, my dear ones....says the Lord. I have come to comfort your troubled heart. I have come to give you hope in the future. I am going to prepare a place for you, that where I am, there you may be also.
Yes Lord. I believe this with my whole heart.
