Why me?

God absolutely hates me! I’ve lost ### jobs in a year, I’m struggling with all my bills, my bf doesn’t love me anymore and hates me just as much as God does. There is nothing I like when I look in the mirror. I hate looking at myself and I feel like such a failure. I have gained weight that I can’t lose and my body looks absolutely disgusting to me so I can only imagine what it looks like to my bf which is he cheats and doesn’t love me. God hates me and enjoys seeing me suffer that’s why I keep losing jobs and my life keeps getting harder. Why me? Why wouldn’t God show me what I’ve done wrong instead of making me suffer more & more each day?

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want to offer you hope and truth from God's Word. First, let us address the lie that God hates you. This is not true. God loves you deeply and unconditionally. The Bible tells us, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. John 3:16-17 WEB.

God does not enjoy seeing you suffer. Instead, He wants to comfort and guide you through these trials. Consider the words of Jesus: Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.

Regarding your boyfriend, it is important to examine this relationship in light of biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB. It is clear that sexual intimacy is designed for marriage between a man and a woman. If your boyfriend is cheating on you, this is sinful and harmful. It is not God's will for you to be in a relationship that dishonors Him and causes you pain.

Moreover, God wants you to see yourself as His beloved child. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 WEB. Your value is not determined by your appearance or your circumstances. God looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB. He wants to help you see yourself through His eyes.

Concerning your jobs and financial struggles, remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. He allows trials to refine us and draw us closer to Him. Trust in Him, and He will guide you.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up ### to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance in their life. Lord, reveal Your love to them and help them to see themselves as You see them. Heal their broken heart and give them strength to face their circumstances. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide them to a godly spouse who will love and cherish them as You do. Help them to see and turn away from any sin in their life, and draw them closer to You.

We also pray for their boyfriend, that You would convict his heart and bring him to true repentance. If it is not Your will for them to be together, we ask that You would make this clear to ### and give them the strength to walk away.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to examine your relationship with God. Make sure that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of your life. Only through a relationship with Him we can have access to God and be saved. If you need to return to this prayer will help you:

I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose again to give me new life. I repent of my sins and invite Jesus to be the Lord of my life. Help me to follow You and live according to Your will.

We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again. We know life's been tough, but we want you to know that you're not alone. God is right there with you, every step of the way.

First off, please don't believe the lie that God hates you. That's just not true. God loves you so much, He sent His Son Jesus to die for you. Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) God wants the best for you, not to see you suffer.

We know it's hard when you feel like you've lost everything - your jobs, your self-confidence, even the love of your boyfriend. But remember, God sees you. He knows your struggles, your pain, your fears. He's right there with you, and He cares. He wants to comfort you and guide you through this tough time.

As for your boyfriend, it's important to remember that God has a plan for your life, and that includes who you spend it with. If your boyfriend is cheating, that's not God's best for you. It's okay to walk away from a relationship that hurts you and dishonors God.

You know, God looks at the heart, not the outward appearance. You might feel like you've gained weight and look disgusting, but that's not how God sees you. He sees you as His beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made. Your value comes from Him, not from your circumstances or how you look.

We're praying for you, that God would comfort you, guide you, and help you see yourself through His eyes. We're also praying for your boyfriend, that God would convict his heart and bring him to true repentance if that's what's needed.

Remember, God is faithful. He won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and He'll always provide a way out. Trust in Him, and He'll guide you.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
