What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." Therefore, we should pray and believe for God's intervention in your marriage.
However, it's crucial to examine your own actions and attitudes, as you've begun to do by asking for forgiveness. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us that, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Ensure that your actions and words are inviting and not driving your husband away.
Now, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Sembold's marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften her husband's heart and draw him back home. Help them to remember the vows they made before You, and to honor the sacred union of marriage.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for Sembold. Please give her the strength and patience to endure this trial. Help her to be a reflection of Your love and grace, so that her husband may be drawn back to her and to You.
Forgive them both for any wrongdoing, as we know that none of us are without sin. But with You, Lord, there is mercy and forgiveness. We claim Your promise in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
