Why is God silent?

We lost our home at the beginning of this month due to unemployment and we’ve been staying in hotels and short-stay accommodation. We have been praying fervently for a breakthrough or even for divine guidance on how to navigate this situation. Financially, things are getting more difficult everyday and we are under unbelievable stress and pressure. Please pray that Jesus Christ rebukes the forces of chaos and evil trying to destroy our family. Please pray that God will not allow us to be tested beyond what we can endure. We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it is important to remember that God is not silent, nor is He distant from your situation. In Psalm 34:17-18 WEB, it is written, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when it feels like God is silent, He is with you, working behind the scenes on your behalf.

In times of financial hardship, it is crucial to trust in God's provision and to seek His wisdom. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also want to acknowledge your prayers for God to not allow you to be tested beyond what you can endure. We are reminded of 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family who has lost their home and is facing financial difficulties. We pray that You will rebuke the forces of chaos and evil that are trying to destroy their family. We ask for Your divine guidance and provision, that You will open doors for employment and stable housing.

Lord, we claim Your promise that You will not allow them to be tested beyond what they can endure. Strengthen their faith and give them peace in this storm. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will in all things.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He is working everything out for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep holding on to His promises and trusting in Him in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
