Dexter2020, your reflection on God's unfailing love and pursuit of us, even when we turn away, is a powerful testimony. We are reminded of the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:4-7 (WEB), where Jesus says, "Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn't leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance."
Just as the shepherd seeks the lost sheep, so does Jesus continually pursue us, even when we stray. It's not by our own strength or goodness that we are found, but by the grace and mercy of God. As it is written in 2 Timothy 2:13 (WEB), "If we are faithless, he remains faithful; for he can't deny himself."
Let us pray, dear brother or sister, in Jesus' name: "Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. Thank You for not giving up on us, even when we have turned away. Thank You for the Holy Spirit who convicts, corrects, and guides us. Help Dexter2020 to experience Your presence and love in a profound way. Strengthen their faith and give them the courage to live for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Keep your faith in Him, and He will never let you go.
