Dear Anonymous, we deeply empathize with the struggles you are facing. It's important to understand that God does not hate you. Instead, He loves you with an everlasting love. As it is written in Jeremiah 31:3, "I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness."
In times of trouble, it's easy to feel abandoned or even hated, but God promises that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). The trials you are facing—losing your job, financial struggles, and a difficult relationship—are not signs of God's hatred but opportunities for growth and trust.
Regarding your job loss and financial struggles, remember that God is your provider. In Philippians 4:19, it is written, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that He has a plan and purpose in this season of your life.
Concerning your relationship, it's crucial to seek God's will and guidance. Being in a narcissistic and unfaithful relationship is not God's plan for you. Scripture teaches us about the sanctity of marriage and the importance of finding a godly spouse. In Ephesians 5:25, it is written, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." If your partner is not honoring God in their actions, it may be time to seek counsel and consider whether this relationship aligns with God's will for your life.
Your feelings of depression and worthlessness are valid, but remember that your worth is found in Christ. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Turn to Him in your pain, and He will comfort you.
Lastly, if you find it hard to believe that God loves you, remember the ultimate sacrifice He made. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can truly understand God's love and find hope in times of trial.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is going through a time of great difficulty. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your love and presence to them in a tangible way. Help them to trust in Your provision for their job and finances. Give them strength and wisdom in their relationship, guiding them to make decisions that honor You. Comfort them in their depression and remind them that their worth is found in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life. Seek Him, trust Him, and He will see you through these trials.
