Why do the unsaved surpass us?

I don't know if some of the rest of you have noticed this,but there's a phenomenon I've seen and heard about too many times to be my imagination, or a coincidence. I have heard this, how many of you have?{And I want to ask why it's happening.}It's like, one of us,who are right with God,need something to change for the better, a certain problem we have. We pray, have others pray for us, etc., but the problem remains, and sometimes even gets worse!!But then we know someone who is not only unsaved ,but into "the deep things of Satan"{the occult,etc.}and if they have a problem,in one easy shot God lets them get out of it!!{Or they don't run into the "obstacles" we run into in the first place!!}Like, years ago, my sister, who was into the occult, and into, and backing, other worldly causes, there were things I try, as a Christian, to do,and I'd run into all kinds of obstacles . She would try to advance herself, and everything fell into place!!{I was thinking, because she follows Satan, she'd "fall", then she surpasses me because of an "easy ride'".Even with sick people. How many times have I seen with my own eyes, a person who has done much good for others, when they go to the hospital, the staff tells the family,"it's time to consider "comfort measures?"And they die.But I have a neighbor who "bounces back" over and over, abuses Gods grace{for his health} by smoking, drinking, etc. was a fornicator, racist, grudge holder,used to look to sue people, argumentative,but dodges bullets right and left.And in general, I've seen with my own 20/20 vision how "skanky" people have either had blessed lives, or bounced back from "fatal" situations that others, with better character, have not.I know, some of the responses will be, I'm not supposed to "notice" these things, or question them,and I might even get a critical tone in some responses. But besides"those" responses, my question is what's actually going on here, when people into, say, participating with demonic activities way surpass us in life? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed it.Because after having many prayers to get out of a problem,and still having the problem, the last thing I want to hear is that someone holding seances is getting everything they want in life.So the question is why,but I also wonder if some of the rest of you have noticed this also.

Agree and I just know that some people throw away their eternal life for a short term pleasure and choose the easy way. I am following Jesus and I found out it is difficult than before and only I can do is just keeping praying and have faith and hope for the future will be better.

Hello brother. It's not uncommon to have those thoughts. The psalmist had similar thoughts in Psalm 73.
I was going to post a few verses but instead I'm just going to suggest that you go read it you're very thoughts the psalmist was dealing with and then God set his eyes on the eternal.

Remember Jesus and you couldn't possibly live a better life because he was God In the Flesh and lived a perfect sinless life, we read that the son of man had no place to lay his head he was persecuted and hated. Read Hebrews chapter 11 of the faith Hall of Fame... we read of so many Heroes of the Bible who lived very difficult circumstances in their life on this Earth. But where are they now they're in Eternal peace with God. Those who live without Christ what is their end?
2 Corinthians 4:18
So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

God's children have trials for sure...but He deals with us as sons and daughters...refining our faith. Be encouraged...

Better to have JESUS than anything this world can offer. Jesus said what will a man give in exchange for his soul? This world is dying...Jesus is Alive Forevermore

Yes this happens to me as well. Sometimes the source of a stubborn problem has become a generational curse; it keeps recurring. The reason we put our prayers to intercession is to strengthen the prayer in agreement Matthew 18:18. Our business is not to give up; but to stay faithful to God and wait for the right time. Speaking from experience it is not easy. The devil uses cunning strategies to shift us from our pisition with God. Onward Christian soldiers and let us march to spiritual war. Ephesians 6.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. The more I pray for others the more the enemy attacks.What I keep in mind is that "those who are first shall be last and those who are last shall be first." I believe that when Jesus comes I'll be one of the first to be lifted up.

Many things come to mind, nothing new under the sun, that which comes against us, be of good courage, Christ won! therefore we have won! Scripture shows us that man is oppressed then and now, but with Christ we can overcome, with that said, yes I have asked the same, with prayers for certain things, I find it hard to believe God’s answer was for the very thing prayed against, that wouldn’t happen, it happened!



All you have to do is watch christian programs and see the differences taught/preached, God will pour out, the next says with unforgiveness God won’t, because of sin God can’t.... all the while they have an abundance! Could it be demonic spirits, for the churches do not teach/preach on evil spirits, yet scripture refers to them, linking them with illness and also poverty! It is written we do not fight flesh but principalities, spirits! yet the church does not teach us, to battle the evil spirits! We have been taught that it must be God’s will... yet is not God’s will for us to have life and more abundantly!



Those who teach/preach faith are spoken against, some are called prosperity preachers and yes some are, but faith preachers are preaching the word of God, and it is written that it was by Faith, Hebrews 11 shows us that it was by Faith. Can we dare to believe, through faith in God, for the answers in this life as we dare to believe through faith in God for life eternal! The forces of evil are in play, we just have been entertained by them for centuries that we don’t believe they are real, real enough to battle them!
