Despite what the "name it and claim it" branch of Christianity tells us, sometimes "claiming it" I see that "claiming the opposite of the circumstances" doesn't always work. Some problems are more stubborn than others. With me this has happened, but also I've heard of it in other cases with other people. What reminded me of this is a news item I heard. The dictator of North Korea,Kim Jong Un, is now in critical condition.I thought, those people in North Korea had his father as a dictator, then him, if he dies they'll be free of dictatorship. But then I heard his sister is as ruthless as them, and she would take over. So much for their "dictatorship problems"ending. That's one example. In my own life, I've had maybe a problem, I think of a way out,{or even pray or have others pray with me}and it would look like the problem "recedes" but sure enough!it's not long before it rears it's head again.Could be in different categories.besides even me and North Korea, there's Paul. I wonder how the "name it and claim it" crowd would explain Paul."Just so I would not get puffed up with pride, it was granted me a thorn in the flesh, an angel of Satan , and 3 times I entreated the Lord to remove it, BUT He said my grace is sufficient"So this "name it and claim it" crowd, who think that you just say something and the problem just goes away in that instant, vanishes in a puff of smoke, my experience has been different. I've had, for example, troublesome people I've tried to get out of my life, and almost immediately after I and others have prayed and claimed it, the phone rings and it's that person!!And{another thing some might say}it's not always something we brought on ourselves, because Job was described as "there was a man of Uz, named Job, who was PERFECT IN ALL HIS WAYS'...but he still had "problems."So why are some problems more stubborn than others, even with prayer, and even if we follow God? You tell me.
