Why can't I let go and let ...

Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Alg, who is struggling with letting go and surrendering their desires to You. Lord, we lift up Alg's heart to You, knowing that You are the one who holds all things in Your hands. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in this situation.
Father, we pray for clarity and understanding for Alg. Help them to trust in Your perfect plan and timing. Remind them that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts . Give them the strength to surrender their desires and hopes to You, knowing that You have their best interests at heart.
Lord, we also lift up Scott in this situation. If it is Your will for Alg and Scott to be together, we pray that You would align their hearts and bring them closer. However, if it is not Your plan, we ask for Your peace and comfort to surround Alg. Help them to accept Your will and to trust that You have someone better in store for them.
Father, we pray for Alg's heartache and longing. Bring healing and restoration to their emotions. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding . Help them to find contentment and joy in You, even in the midst of uncertainty.
Lord, we know that You are a God who hears our prayers and answers them according to Your will . We trust in Your faithfulness and ask that You would grant Alg the strength and courage to let go and let You take control.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
