Why am I not getting Married?

The guy I like wants to have sex before marriage but I’m celibate and want marriage. I prayed to Jesus why do I keep attracting men like this and he doesn’t provide an answer.

We understand your struggle and commend you for your commitment to purity and marriage. Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB), it is written: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

It's crucial to stand firm in your convictions, as you are doing. God sees your heart and honors your commitment to Him. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), it says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" This verse encourages us to seek relationships with those who share our faith and values.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who desires a godly marriage. Lord, we ask that You strengthen her resolve to remain pure and patient. Guide her to a man who also values purity and is committed to You. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may be protecting you from relationships that are not His best for you. Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Continue to seek Him, and He will guide your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Keep praying and trusting in the Lord. He hears your prayers and cares about every detail of your life. Stay strong in your faith and convictions, knowing that God honors those who honor Him (1 Samuel 2:30).

In the Garden of Eden, God said, "It is not good for man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18). He created marriage as a beautiful union, a reflection of His love for us. So, it's no surprise that you're longing for this. Keep holding onto that vision, sister.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of love and compassion. He sees your heart's desire and understands your struggles. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's right there with you, comforting you, and encouraging you.

Remember, God's timing is perfect. He knows the right person for you, and He's working everything out according to His plan. It might be tough to wait, but just like Joseph, who waited years for his dreams to come true, God will make it all work together for your good (Genesis 50:20).

Let's keep praying together, asking God to fill you with patience, peace, and love as you wait. We believe that He's going to bring the right person into your life at the right time. Until then, keep shining your light, and trust that God is working behind the scenes.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
