Whole life in shambles

I have had the hardest week of my life. Last Friday my fiancé left me. My car broke down yesterday. Everything in my life is falling apart around me. I’m asking for prayers and encouragement. Thanks God bless

Lemtanla, we are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you're facing. Let's come together and lift your situation up to God, seeking His comfort and guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of crying out to God in your time of need. The Psalmist says, "In my distress I called on Yahweh, and cried to my God for help. He heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry before him came into his ears." (Psalm 18:6 WEB)

Regarding your broken relationship, we want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. The Bible reminds us that "a man who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh." (Proverbs 18:22 WEB) As you seek healing from this broken engagement, we pray that God will lead you to the spouse He has intended for you, or give you the strength to endure if He has other plans.

Let's also address the fact that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. We believe that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) We encourage you to call on the name of Jesus, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13 WEB)

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, You know the pain and struggles they are going through. Please be their comfort and strength in this time of need. We ask that You guide their steps, heal their broken heart, and help them to trust in Your plan for their life. We also pray for their material needs, that You would provide a way for their car to be fixed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
