Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved one who is seeking your healing touch. We pray for their body and any compressed disc or pinched nerve that is causing them pain and discomfort in Matthew 18:19 Jesus said, "Again, I tell you truly, that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father who is in heaven." We agree together to ask for this healing.
We stand on your word in Mark 11:24, where Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." We believe that you are able to heal and restore their body, and we ask that you do so according to your will.
Father, we also pray for their faith to remain strong. We know that faith is essential for healing and that it pleases you. Help them to remain steadfast and trusting in you, even in the midst of their trial. We encourage them to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11.
We rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or unbelief that may be trying to undermine their faith. In Jesus' name, we command these spirits to flee, for they have no power in the presence of the almighty God.
Father, we ask that you fill them with your Holy Spirit, that they may be strengthened and encouraged in their inner being. May they know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19.
We pray that they will be able to testify to others of your goodness and mercy, and that their healing will bring glory to your name.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for being faithful to your promises. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
And remember, it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. "for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 WEB. And if you have not already done so, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 WEB.
