Have you been going through the motions with your faith? You may go to church regularly and have even asked Jesus into your heart; but you are not really sure if you made it out of an emotional calling or you truly came to a point in your life in which you finally realized that life is hard and life is but a breath and you wonder just who really does have your heart and soul? Did your heart and your head agree to let Jesus be the Lord of your life, the Lord of your heart, soul, mind, will, mouth and emotions? Is there still a part of you that is controlled by the world or people in it? You cannot have it both ways; you are either are all of the Lord’s or you are not at all.
(I Corinthians 10:21-22) “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s Table and the table of demons. Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than He?â€
You need to truly examine your heart and ask yourself honestly, does the Lord truly have my heart or does the world still hold parts of it?
(I John 2:15-17) “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.â€
No one knows the hour and time of his death; that is only known by God. Do you really want to take a chance with your soul and where you will spend eternity? Is a few fleeting moments of the world’s passion worth eternity; it is forever, never-ending? Read this poem and examine your heart and mind. If they both agree that you truly do belong to God then I do praise God for it, but if not, then make today the first day of the rest of your life by repenting of sin and inviting Jesus into your heart to be your Lord and Savior.
Calvary’s Son
Love is very special between a Father and a Son.
One day they’re together and the next
One is Calvary’s Son.
A Son given to the world for sins of the heart
that the world could not begin to repent of from all the sin.
He is very special right from the start, and if
you receive Him, you will know the love
that is in His heart.
Do not be a fool and let a day go by, and
miss out on that special love because of fear or pride.
To each life must come and end, and the time
you do not know when. So do not waste that
special love and sit and wonder why, instead of
that special love you cared more about your pride.
Each life is very special, don’t wait another moment
to receive the grace from His love and miss out on the freedom
that comes from Calvary’s Son.
Your soul is at stake, so don’t make a mistake and wait.
It will burn endlessly, with Satan, for an eternity.
So look to Calvary’s Son
He’ll break the yoke of Satan
and free you from his chains.
