In Jesus' name, we come together to lift you up, ###. We hear the cry of your heart, and we want to remind you that God is always near to the brokenhearted, as it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to address the concern that God does not care. We assure you that God cares deeply for you. In 1 Peter 5:7, it tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. Even in your struggles, God is with you, and He loves you more than anyone else could.
We also want to address the endless cycle of abuse and control you're experiencing. God does not condone abuse, and He desires freedom for you. In Galatians 5:1, it says, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." It's important to seek help and set boundaries. It is not God's will for you to be abused or to live in constant fear and obedience to your parents. We encourage you to reach out to local support groups or trusted individuals who can help you find a safe way out.
Regarding your health, both mental and physical, we believe that God can heal you. In Jeremiah 30:17, it says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We pray for your healing and encourage you to seek professional help as well. God often works through doctors and therapists.
Lastly, we want to remind you that true freedom is found in Christ. In John 8:36, Jesus says, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. It's only through Him that we have access to God and eternal life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up ###. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and healing. Break the chains of abuse and control, and give them the courage to seek help and set boundaries. Heal their mental and physical illnesses, and help them to feel Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, ###. God is with you, and He will never forsake you.
