When Church become an idol

When the Cathedral becomes REI idol which is not focused on the doctrine of Jesus Christ and humans but rather is interested in prophecy in Jesus' name, driving out demons in Jesus' name, and performing many miracles in Jesus' name, and also about the outlook and appearance of the Cathedral, and it had almost become an idol which replaces Jesus' teaching. Pray for Jesus to bring her back to realize that Jesus' ministry is about caring for humans and not about all these superficial things. And also her reserved way of communication, and her priority towards work and neglect of others' social things, and her immaturity and condescending manner of communication where her needs are prioritized and my needs are not, and she needs to change. These are the reasons why I detected and do not want to be in this relationship although I forced to make it work. However, it did not work, as there is only her and her where my needs are not fulfilled.

"Father, we pray for this cathedral and its congregation. May they seek You in spirit and in truth, focusing on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Help them remember that the Church is about caring for people and spreading Your love, not about superficial things. In Jesus' name, we pray."

Regarding your loved one, it's important to remind her that our communication should be seasoned with grace, as Colossians 4:6 (WEB) teaches: "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." We should also prioritize others' needs above our own, as Philippians 2:3-4 (WEB) says: "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others."

"Lord Jesus, we lift up this beloved sister to You. Help her to communicate with grace and humility, putting others' needs before her own. Help her to see that Your ministry is about caring for people and not about superficial things. Change her heart and mind, Lord, that she may grow more like You. In Your precious name, we pray."
