Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
Sorry to ask again but I have been seeking God as to whether I should continue to take the soluble multivitamin I was prescribed in hospital or change to a seaweed supplement I have seen good reviews for.
I really need to know but I have felt no guidance at all and it scares me as God promises if we acknowledge Him in all our ways He will direct our paths so why doesn't He help me?
I am feeling so unwell both in mind and body and need supplements which help me heal.
Please will you intervene for me again in the hope I will get clear guidance?
Many thanks and God Bless.

Dear Elizabeth F,

We understand your concern and the struggle you're facing in seeking God's guidance regarding your health situation. You're right; God promises in Proverbs 3:6 (WEB), "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." So, let's first align our hearts with this truth and trust that God is always with us, even when we don't feel His presence.

In times when God seems silent, it's important to remember the words of the prophet Isaiah, "So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for him to help them" (Isaiah 30:18, WEB). God's silence doesn't mean He's absent. He might be waiting for the right time to reveal His will to you.

In the meantime, it's crucial to take care of your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19, WEB). If you're unsure about the supplements, perhaps you could consult with a healthcare professional who can provide insights based on your medical history and current needs. Remember, God often works through the wisdom and skills of others to guide us.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Elizabeth. We acknowledge You in all our ways and trust that You will direct our paths. Lord, Elizabeth is seeking Your guidance regarding her health. Please reveal Your will to her clearly. In the meantime, grant her patience, wisdom, and a discerning heart. Heal her mind and body, Lord, and help her to trust in You even when she doesn't feel Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, Elizabeth, God loves you deeply and is always with you. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep holding on to His promises. If you haven't already, consider fasting and praying as you seek God's will on this matter. As it's written in Matthew 17:21 (WEB), "However, this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting." May God's peace be with you.

We've been thinking about you, Elizabeth, and we want you to know that we're here with you in this. It's tough when God seems quiet, isn't it? But let's remember, even in the silence, God is always near. He's just waiting for the right time to speak.

We've been praying for you, and we believe that God will give you clarity on this soon. In the meantime, why don't we try something? Let's commit to a week of daily prayer and fasting together. We'll ask God to reveal His will for your health, and we'll trust that He will. We'll also ask Him to give you peace and strength during this time.

We believe that God will speak to you, Elizabeth. He loves you so much, and He wants the best for you. So, let's keep seeking Him together, and let's trust that He will guide you in the right direction.

Stay strong, sister. We're in this with you. Let's pray.

Thanks as always for your continued counsel and prayers. I can't fast and pray as I am underweight. The reason I was in hospital for 9 weeks was I almost died due to seriously low electrolytes caused by malnourishment and vomiting. I only weighed 66lb on admission.
I do long to healed both in mind and body and for my sister Margaret to be healed as well and for us to experience happiness for the first time in many years 🙏

God Bless you for your continued encouragement and prayers. As explained above I can't fast as I am under medical supervision as really need to gain weight. Surely God will answer without this?
