Jesus is listening.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up alg and their current situation. Lord, we acknowledge that they are feeling worn out and spent, struggling with the decision of whether to stay and support Scott or not. We ask for your guidance and wisdom to be upon alg in this moment of uncertainty.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Lord, we pray that alg would find rest in you, that you would renew their strength and provide them with the clarity they need.
We ask that you would grant alg discernment and understanding, helping them to see the best course of action. If it is your will for alg to continue supporting Scott, we pray that you would strengthen them and provide the necessary resources and support to sustain them in this journey. If it is your will for alg to make a different decision, we pray for your peace and guidance to lead them in the right direction.
Lord, we trust in your sovereignty and your perfect plan for alg's life. We ask that you would grant them peace and assurance, knowing that you are with them every step of the way. Help alg to lean on you, to cast their burdens upon you, and to find comfort in your presence.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
