What Pharisees wanted or what we want from Jesus

Jesus was not the kind of king that the Pharisees wanted. They wanted a leader who would send all the Romans away. They did not want a man who would help them to know God.
My kingdom is not from this world... Jesus told to Pilate. He did not come to this world to waste His time running temporal affairs of people. Jesus came to do the will of the Father which is in heaven. His kingdom is an eternal kingdom and we must follow Him and obey His voice.

Shalom brother ### and thanks. I am often accused of being a Pharisee as a true devoted follower of Messiah. They mock and scoff, it's nothing, just a sign of the End, according to scriptures.
Paul did not say I was a Pharisee but I am a Pharisee. So are we in the original meaning of the word which was set-apart, made holy. These other Pharisees were wicked and jealous and had no conception of heavenly things. He came in His first advent as the suffering servant according to prophecy especially Psalms and Isaiah. He is returning as the conquering Lion of Judah. Not many are ready. Many are still living in sin and abusing the freely given Grace He paid for us so painfully on the cross. Refusing to keep the Saturday Sabbath like the Torah of Moses commands us too and which Yahushua and the early church kept. Blessings.
