How great is Jesus Love. With His arms extended and asking the Father to forgive those who persecuted Him, died on the cross for us. He never capitulated to hate. His mission was paramount to humanity. That's how much He loves!
What is this Love?
Humanistic View
Love is a set of emotions and behaviors characterized by intimacy, passion, and commitment. It involves care, closeness, protectiveness, attraction, affection, and trust. Love can vary in intensity and can change over time. It is associated with a range of positive emotions, including happiness, excitement, life satisfaction, and euphoria, but it can also result in negative emotions such as jealousy and stress. [Is Love Biological or Is It a Cultural Phenomenon?]
Consequently this type of love comes and it goes. It strong one moment and fleeting in another. If one engages in favourable actions then one can expect to be rewarded with conditional love. And of course the opposite is also true. Your action directly impact this type of love.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. All that matters is faith, expressed through love.
Galatians 5:6
Definition
Godly Love is an act of faith to honourably pursue the well-being, edification, and the prosperity of every person without any biases or conditions. It relentlessly governs our behaviour without end. It is the heart behind the purest justice system. No written laws are necessary for it is written in our hearts and minds.
It is clear that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
2 Corinthians 3:3
When we were children we conducted ourselves under the reward and punishment system. When we grew older we abandoned our old ways and embraced His Love under the new covenant. Unfortunately many struggle with higher Love.
8. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed. 9. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10. but when the perfect comes, the partial passes away. 11.When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways. 12. Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:8-13
Jesus is the fulfillment of the prophecies. He did away with the old and ushered in the new covenant of grace, forgiveness, and love. He walked His talk of Love and paid our debts in full. His Love did not waiver. It was not conditional. It is nothing we did right or wrong. He displayed the highest standard of Love by offering Himself at Calvary. He Loves you, period. Understand that this capital 'L' Love is nothing like the love that the world has to offer. True Love is at the heart of God’s justice system. We must Love everyone unconditionally. Jesus did.
May you live in His Love and share it with everyone.
Jesus came to set all the captives free!
