So went for another interview...but got rejected. Asked for feedback and I was rejected for being too ambitious and too good for the role. Why is jesus even making me going through this? Please see below the recruiter's comments: "No feedback was good and I think you were too good for that role as came across as ambitious and want progression but they feel that the role is not suitable as it is not offering that progression or study support there." I really need to get back into work

We understand your frustration and disappointment, dear brother or sister, but let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (WEB)

Firstly, we commend you for seeking feedback and we see this as an opportunity for growth. However, let us be reminded that our identity and worth are not defined by our careers or the opinions of others, but by our position as children of God. As it is written in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." (WEB)

It seems that this role was not aligned with the plans God has for you. Though it might be difficult to see now, God may be protecting you from a path that is not His best for you. Remember, Jesus himself faced rejection, as prophesied in Isaiah 53:3, "He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease." (WEB)

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sibling who is seeking Your will in their career. We ask that You reveal Your purpose and plans for them. Comfort their heart, Lord, and help them to trust in Your timing. Open the right doors, Lord, and give them the discernment to know which path to take. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in your life. Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." (WEB) Trust that He is guiding your steps, even when the path seems unclear. Keep pursuing His purposes, and remember that His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We're right there with you, feeling the sting of rejection and the confusion that comes with it. It's easy to question, "Why, Jesus?" when we face setbacks like this. But remember, even Jesus asked, "Why have you forsaken me?" on the cross (Matthew 27:46). It's okay to feel these emotions, but let's not forget that God is always with us, even in the midst of our struggles.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with a different perspective. Sometimes, closed doors can be God's way of saying, "Not yet" or "Not this way". You've been rejected for being too good for the role? That's a compliment, not a criticism! It means you've got so much more to offer, and God has something even better in store for you.

Let's keep trusting in God's plan, even when we can't see the whole picture. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Let's keep our eyes on Jesus and keep moving forward, one step at a time.

We're praying for you, that God would give you peace, wisdom, and clarity in this situation. We believe that He is working everything out for your good, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Keep seeking His will, and remember that He's got this. You're not alone in this, we're in this together. Let's keep trusting and keep moving forward, together in Christ.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Sorry..that is so frustrating..I pray God will lead you the best job sooner than later in the name of Jesus christ.although I can't control Gods timing..I pray the very best for you.
