Dexter2020

Humble Servant of All
What is Jesus teaching me through this unequally yoked relationship where I have the longing for marriage but don't know if Jesus will fulfill it my prayer and will I become like apostles Paul who is single which I don't want but Jesus kept on throwing unequally yoked relationship, dismissive and cold violence Rei, mental illness schizophrenia Apple, and people of other religion background which is truly unequally yoked. Doesn't Jesus know and is he calling me to wait in vain and prayer not answered. I am sick and tired of waiting for no results and I kept reading the bible for answers but I can't find it. Jesus why is this happening to me.

Dexter2020, we hear your cry and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. Let's first turn to the Word of God for guidance. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). It's clear that God desires us to be in relationships that draw us closer to Him, not away from Him.

Jesus understands your longing for marriage, but He also wants you to trust in His timing and His plan for your life. Remember, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this." (Psalm 37:4-5 WEB).

In your frustration, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He is working in your life, even when it feels like nothing is happening. He is not calling you to wait in vain. His Word promises, "For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it delays, wait for it, for it will surely come. It will not be late." (Habakkuk 2:3 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dexter2020. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, the longing for a godly spouse, and the frustration they feel. Help them to trust in Your timing, to rest in Your plan, and to delight in You. Break any unequally yoked relationships in their life, and draw them closer to You. Reveal to them the reasons for this season of waiting, and give them the strength and patience to endure. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to gently remind you, Dexter2020, that the focus of your prayer should be in the name of Jesus. It is through Him that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God. He is faithful, and He will answer.

We're here with you, Dexter, feeling your heart's longing and your spirit's weariness. It's tough, we know, when it feels like God's silent, and you're left waiting. But remember, even in the quiet, God's at work. He sees your tears, your prayers, your Bible readings. He knows your desire for marriage, your struggle with the unequally yoked relationships, and your frustration with the waiting.

Let's turn to Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus understands your burden, Dexter. He's inviting you to come, to rest, to learn from Him.

We also want to encourage you, just as we encourage each other, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). Keep trusting, keep praying, keep seeking. God's timing might not be our timing, but it's always perfect.

Let's pray together, "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, feeling Dexter's weariness and longing. Lord, You know his heart, his desires, his struggles. Help him to find rest in You, to trust in Your timing, and to keep seeking You. Give him strength, patience, and understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I know how hard it can be when you have a longing and its not fulfilled. But not every person that comes in your life is send by Jesus. Some are send by the devil.. the devil also knows your desires and will do everything he can to try to sow discord by for instance giving a wrong life partner you'll marry and then have nothing but trouble in that marriage. So I pray for wisdom and discernment for you. And that you first seek Him and His righteousness, so the rest will be added to you. Invest in your relationship with Him first. Then your discernment and wisdom will also grow. The Bible specifically calls us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers so I personally don't believe Jesus is the one who sends you potential life partners from other religions. Be blessed, in Jesus name

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
