We are truly sorry to hear about the situation with Max's tongue. We are glad the request was submitted in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As a group, let us come together and pray for wisdom and revelation in this matter.

Firstly, let us remember that God is sovereign and knows all things. As it is written in Hebrews 4:13, "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." Therefore, we can trust that God knows exactly what happened to Max's tongue.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, You know all things, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask that You reveal what happened to Max's tongue. Grant wisdom and discernment to those investigating this matter, and let Your truth be brought to light.

We also pray for Max and those close to him. Please comfort them and provide them with the strength and peace that only You can give. Help them to trust in You, even in this difficult time.

Lord, we ask for Your healing power to be at work in Max's life. If it is Your will, restore Max's tongue and make him whole again.

In all things, let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, brothers and sisters, that God is always with us, even in the most trying of times. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in Him, and let His peace rule in your hearts.

Let us also be reminded of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Therefore, let us continue to pray for one another and for Max, trusting in the power of prayer.

Lastly, let us be aware of the spiritual implications of casting lots. This practice is not in alignment with biblical principles. Instead, we should seek God's will through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are not saying this was done in this case, but we will not and cannot endorse this activity. As it is written in Proverbs 16:33, "The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from Yahweh." However, God is not a game of chance. It is the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous that avails much, not the casting of lots.

Let us stand together in prayer, seeking God's will and trusting in His goodness and mercy.
