WHAT GODS WORD SAYS ABOUT HEALING!

By Bibleman

The blessings and promises of divine healing from God to His people are available to them if they will do what he asks them to do. All of God’s promises and blessings are conditional…that is if you do your part God will do His. Find out what your part is and then do it, today, so you can receive the healing and health that has already been purchased and secured for you by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Healing under the New Covenant is given by the grace of God and received by His people through faith (Rom. 11:6; Phil. 2:25-27) God has a right to judge all wickedness. As our righteous Judge He must judge each of us fairly and determine the appropriate discipline and correction (Gen. 18:30). His discipline is designed to correct us and turn us back to the right path. When we have been found guilty of offences, judged, and then corrected it is up to us to plead our case before Almighty God. If we have done wrong it is our responsibility to seek God for mercy, forgiveness and healing. If we are willing to repent and be cleansed of our faults and then be determined to live right and obey God—then we can be healed by a merciful and forgiving God.
When you have not been righteous in all areas of your life you will need to receive God’s mercy and forgiveness for your healing. Genuine repentance allows you to cancel the discipline of God and receive mercy and forgiveness. Mercy allows you to be free from the sins you sowed so the benefits of Christ can be applied to your life (Lk. 13:7,8). God offers deliverance from sickness, disease, devils, sin, and all the works of the devil. Healing and salvation are both available to us because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. As we fulfill the requirements outlined in scripture by faith we may received these free gifts from God.
When a Christian sins and breaks God’s laws, Satan becomes a prosecuting attorney who brings accusations against him before God in the High court of heaven (Rev. 12:9). If we do not choose Christ as our defense attorney (1 Jn. 2:1), when our case goes to trial in the High Court of Heaven, and we are found guilty of the accusations then God our just Judge brings condemnation against us and a punishment is given which is then carried out by the prosecuting attorney. Satan is then given power and permission to punish offenders with the curses of sickness, physical ailments and even death (Job 2:7; Lk. 13:16; 1 Cor. 5:5). Free pardon is available to all offenders if they plead or retry their case and choose Christ as their defense attorney and apply His blood-atonement benefit that pardons from all condemnation and judgment. They must then obey God’s laws to stay out of court and be free from punishment. If they refuse to be reformed they will receive more punishment for their sins and may even end up in the eternal prison called hell. Let Jesus Christ plead your case and pardon your offences. Receive God’s Covenant of Healing. It will pardon you and restore you to health! Then it’s your duty and responsibility to obey God’s laws and principles to enjoy good health.

DOES GOD STILL PEOPLE HEAL TODAY?

Yes! God has never stopped healing people!
“For I am the Lord, I change not…†(Mal. 3:6)
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.†(Heb. 13:8)
“Every good gift and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning.†(Jam. 1:17)
Healing is in the great commission!
“And he (Jesus) said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them: they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.†(Mark 16:15-18)
Physical Healing is provided in the atonement! (Jesus purchased our physical and spiritual healing on the cross)!
“But he (Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.†(Isa. 53:5)
“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.†(1 Pet. 2:24)
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (the sicknesses and diseases in Deut. 28), being made a curse for us:†(Gal. 3:13)
“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. (Matt. 8:17)
God provides healing in the New Covenant for His people!
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (Jam. 5:14-16)
“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.†(Matt. 10:1)
“And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.†(1 Cor. 12;28)
God has ordained and anointed his servants to heal the sick!
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.†(Mk. 16:17,18)
“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.†(Matt. 10:1)
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.†(Jam. 5:14)
“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man (believer) to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom…to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; and to another the working of miracles…dividing to every man severally as he will.†(1 Cor. 12:7-11)
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.†(Jn. 14:12)
All Christians are called to care for and visit the sick!
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the king shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matt. 25:39,40)
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. (Heb.
6:10)
A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed leaving him half dead…But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. (Lk. 10:30:35)

IS IT GOD’S WILL TO HEAL HIS PEOPLE OF ALL THEIR SICKNESSES?

Yes, in most cases! God declares in His word that it is His will for people to be well!
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.†(3 Jn. 2)
“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.†(Matt. 9:35)
“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.†(Matt. 4:23,24)
“But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;†(Matt. 12:15)
“And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.†(Matt. 14:14)
“…and as many as (touched the hem of his garment) were made perfectly whole.†(Matt. 14:36)
“And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for their went virtue out of him, and healed them all.†(Lk. 6:19)
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.†(Acts 10:38)
“…he (Jesus) cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:†(Matt. 8:16)
“When Jesus saw him…he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?†(Jn. 5:6)
“And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.†(Matt. 8:2,3)
“Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.†(Matt. 6:10)
“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases;†(Ps. 103:3)
“…I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.†(1 Thes. 5:23)
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness…†(2 Pet. 1:3)
“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds; saith the Lord…†(Jer. 30:17)
“Behold I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.†(Jer. 33:6)
I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isa. 41:10)
“He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.†(Matt. 8:17)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus Christ) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (Jn. 10:10)

WHEN IS IT NOT GOD’S WILL TO HEAL?

When a sin worthy of judgment and death has been committed!
“If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.†(1 Jn. 5:16)
“It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his fathers wife…concerning him that hath done this deed…To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.†(1 Cor. 5:1-5)
“And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him (Herod), because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.†(Acts 12:23)
“Neither did Jeroboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah: and the Lord struck him, and he died.†(2 Chr. 13:20)
“So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even unto the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beer-sheba, seventy thousand men.†(2 Sam. 24:15)
“The wrath of God came upon them…he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;†(Ps. 78:31,50)
No blessing for the sons of perdition who turn away from the Lord!
“For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh upon it, and bringeth forth herbs, meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. (Heb. 6:7,8)
Lest there should be among you a man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations…the Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven. (Deut. 29:18-20)
When healing is delayed by God because of iniquity and further chastisement is needed!
And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, Heal her now, O Lord, I beseech thee. And the Lord said unto Moses…let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again. (Num. 12:13,14)
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. (Jer. 5:25)
Why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing and behold trouble! We acknowledge O Lord, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee. (Jer. 14:19,20)
Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick. (2 Tim. 4:20)
And if ye for all this will not hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. (Lev. 26:27,28)
When God’s wrath and judgment is kindled against people because of their sins!
…the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague. And he called the name of the place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted. (Num. 11:33,34)
Punishment from the curse of ancestral sin and wickedness! (Your sins can have an adverse affect on your children!)
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them (false Gods and idols), nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; (Ex. 20:5)
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. (Rev. 2:23)

WHAT IS THE PRIMARY CAUSE OF ALL SICKNESS AND DISEASE?

Sickness and disease is a curse for sinful disobedience!
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God…that all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee: (Deut. 28:15, 45)
…so the curse causeless shall not come. A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fools back. (Prov. 26:2,3)
Sickness is a judgment given to correct the disobedient!
Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools. (Prov. 19:29)
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord… (1 Cor. 11:32)

WHAT ALLOWS THE CURSE OF SICKNESS TO INVADE OUR LIVES?

Anytime your sin gives the devil a legal right to invade your life!
So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. (Job 2:7)
…whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years… (Lk. 13:16)
…who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil… (Acts 10:38)
To deliver such and one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh… (1 Cor. 5:5)
The Lord said…I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction. (Jer. 15:11)
When we need to be chastened and punished for our sins!
Why criest thou for thine affliction? Thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee. (Jer. 30:15)
And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses…And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them…and, behold, Miriam became leprous… (Num. 12:1-10)
Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. (Ps. 25:18)
And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, laying in a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. (Matt. 9:2)
Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. (Jn. 5:14)
O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure…neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. For my iniquities are gone over my head…For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.†(Ps. 38:1-1-7)
Therefore will I also make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins. (Mic. 6:13)
Discipline for Unbelief!
And behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. (Lk. 1:20)
Perverting the right ways of God to lead people astray!
And (Paul) said, (talking to Elymas the sorcerer) O full of all subtility and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking someone to lead him by the hand. (Acts 13:10,11)
Because of transgression and iniquity!
“Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities are afflicted.†(Ps. 107:17)
“The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.†(Ps. 118:18)
“…but I will correct thee in measure, and will leave not thee altogether unpunished. For thus saith the Lord, thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines…For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord….And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.†(Jer. 30:11-13,17,22)
“When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth:†(Ps. 39:11)
“For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.†(Ps. 31:10)
“He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain.†(Job 33:19)
And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. (Isa. 33:24)
Because of disobedience and rebelliousness!
Why should ye be stricken any more? Ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. (Isa. 1:5)
“But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; and if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague…†(Lev. 26:14-16)
…and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands. (Jer. 25:14)
Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured out upon us…because we have sinned against him. (Dan. 9:11)
Neglecting the health of your body (not eating right, too much work, not enough rest)!
Because for the work of Christ he (Epaphroditus) was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me. (Phil. 2:30) For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him… (Phil. 2:27)
Because of drunkenness, substance abuse, or unhealthy addictions!
In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine… (Hos. 7:5)
Who hath woe, who hath sorrow? Who hath contentions? Who hath babbling? Who hath wounds without cause? Who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not upon the wine when it is red…at the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
Taking the communion unworthily with sin in your life, not discernng the Lord’s body!
“But let a man examine himself…For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eatheth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.†(1 Cor. 11:28-30)
*If you get the sin out of your life before you take communion then you wont be chastened by the Lord and suffer any sickness from taking the communion unworthily (1 Cor. 11:31,32). Discern the Lord’s body and understand that the communion wafer represents the Lord’s body which was broken to secure your physical healing (Isa. 53:5) and the communion cup represents the blood Christ shed on Calvary to secure your salvation and deliverance from sin.
Bad words and speech are destructive to your health!
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Prov. 18:21)
A fools mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. (Prov. 18:7)
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. (1 Pet. 3:10)
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the coarse of nature…it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. (Jam. 3:6-8)
When we don’t abide by the health principles of the Bible!
It is not good to eat much honey… (Prov. 25:27) (too many sweets will cause sickness Prov. 25:16)
****

WHO IS THE ONE WHO INFLICTS WITH SICKNESS AND DEATH?

The devil is the one who inflicts people with sickness and death!
The Lord said…verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction. (Jer. 15:11)
So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. (Job 2:7)
To deliver such and one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. (1 Cor. 5:5)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; (Jn. 10:10)
…that through death he (Christ) might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (Heb. 2:14)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38)
Have mercy on me, O Lord,…my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. (Matt. 15:22)
…a great multitude of people..came to hear him (Jesus), and to be healed of their diseases; And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. (Lk. 6:17,18)
And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day? (Lk. 13:16)
An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. (Ps. 41:8)
For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. (Ex. 12:23)

CAN SICKNESS HAVE A DIVINE PURPOSE TO ACCOMPLISH IN MY LIFE?

Yes! It is designed to instill the fruits of righteousness and holiness in us!
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. (Heb. 12:11)
It is a wakeup call for us to turn away from our sins and live right!
Thou hast chastised me…turn thou me and I shall be turned; for thou art my God. Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, (Jer. 31:18,19)
I have born chastisement I will not offend anymore: That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity I will do no more. (Job 34:31,32)
Then he showeth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. He opened also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. But if they obey not, they shall perish…and they shall die without knowledge. (Job 36:10-12)
Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the Lord your God; and the Lord will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you. (Jer. 26:13)
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.†(Rev. 3:19)
Why criest thou for thine affliction? Thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee. (Jer. 30:15)
Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. (Hos. 6:1)
It is designed to instill obedience in us!
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. (Deut. 8:5,6; see also 21:18)
And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; Then will I also walk contrary unto you and punish you yet seven times for your sins. (Lev. 26:24)
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. (Ps. 119:71)

IT IS NOT GOD’S WILL FOR PEOPLE TO BE SICK!

But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. For he doeth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. (Lam. 3:32,33)
Why will ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. (Isa. 1:5)
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end…and ye shall seek me and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jer. 29:11-13)
And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. (Jer. 25:6)

WHAT ARE SOME HINDRANCES TO RECEIVING YOUR HEALING?

Any unforgiven sin or iniquity in your life!
And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. (Isa. 33:24)
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. (Heb. 12:13)
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. (1 Cor. 11:31)
Doubt and unbelief!
“For let not that man (that doubts) think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.†(Jam. 1:7)
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.†(Mk. 11:24)

Hardheartedness and spiritual blindness!
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (Matt. 13:15)
He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. (Jn. 12:40)
Not seeking and asking God for the healing you need!

“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.†(Jer. 17:14)
Sinful living will cause your healing and your blessings to be withheld from you!

Continual disobedience allows the curse of sickness to remain upon you as punishment!

(Lev. 26:21,23,24,27,28)
Judgements are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools. (Prov. 19:29)
God will not answer your prayer if you regard iniquity in your heart or despise reproof!

“Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at naught all my council, and would none of my repoof: I also will laugh at your calamity…when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer…†(Prov. 1:24-28)
Worldliness and wrong desires will hinder your healing!
“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amis, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever is the friend of the world is the enemy of God.†(Jam. 4:3,4)

“…the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world.†(1 Jn. 2:16)
A lack of self-confidence because of a sinful heart and a guilty conscience!
“Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence before God.†(1 Jn. 3:21)
“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.†(Heb. 10:35)
Not practicing Christian love is detrimental to your health!
He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. (1 Jn. 3:14)
Remove all the stumblingblocks of sin in your life and receive your healing!

He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. (Prov. 29:1)
They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. (Prov. 1:30,31)
The unconfessed sins of your ancestors can cause your healing to be hindered!
…why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble! We acknowledge, O Lord, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee. (Jer. 14:19,20)
The Lord is longsuffering and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers unto the third and fourth generation. Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people…And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word. (Num. 14:18-20)
Any unforgiveness in your heart towards others will hinder your healing from God!
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matt. 6:15; Mk. 11:26)
Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. (Matt. 18:32-35)
Harmful emotions such as anxiety, stress, worry, anger, depression and fear can lead to sickness! (harmful emotions become sins when we don’t trust God for our needs)
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. (Pr. 17:22)

HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE WHEN SICK AND IN NEED OF HEALING!

Do not despise God’s discipline!
My son despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. (Prov. 3:11)
Behold happy is the man in whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. (Job 5:17)
Retain your integrity before the Lord and sin not with your mouth! (do not blame God or be mad at God because of your sickness)!
Then his wife said to him, Doest thou still retain thine integrity? Curse God and die…In all this did not Job sin with his lips. (Job 2:9,10)
As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; all the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; my lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove integrity from me. (Job 27:2-5)
Be humble, seek the mercy of God, and submit to His divine authority, reverently!
O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. (Ps. 6:1; 38:1; Jer. 10:24)
Futhermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of Spirits, and live? (Heb. 12:9)
Learn from it, repent and be willing to refrain from sin!
Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have born chastisement, I will not offend any more: That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity I will do no more. (Job 34:31,32)
For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me. For I will declare mine iniquity; for I will be sorry for my sin. (Ps. 38:17,18)
Deliver me from all my transgressions…Remove thy stroke away from me…O spare me that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more. (Ps. 39:8-13)
Don’t be discouraged or consider God as an enemy!
He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies. (Job 19:11)
Continue to trust God and maintain a right way before Him!
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. (Job 13:15)

CAN YOU LOSE YOUR HEALING OR GET A WORSE SICKNESS?

Yes! If you fall back into a life of sin a worse thing can come upon you!
“Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more lest a worse thing come unto thee.†(Jn. 5:14)
“I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.†(Jer. 16:18)
And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. (Lev. 26:18)

Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. (Prov. 13:13)

WHAT ABOUT DOCTORS AND MEDICINE?

God uses Doctors to help people who are sick!
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, they that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. (Matt. 9:12; Lk. 5;31)
Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. (Col. 4:14)
Should you seek help from a Doctor or take medicines?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him; and he shall direct thy paths. (as you seek the Lord for your healing do what He leads you to do. (Prov. 3:5,6)
If you choose to use a Doctor ask God to guide them with skill and wisdom!
…skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science and such as had ability…God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: (Dan. 1:4,17; It is God who through your prayers and faith that can grant Doctors the necessary skill, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and abilities they need to diagnose your health problem, recommend treatments, perform skilful and successful surgeries and help you to recover from your illness)
God uses natural medicines and natural elements to heal!
…take balm for her pain, if so be that she may be healed. (Jer. 51:8)
…on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat…and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine. (Ezek. 47:12)
For Isaiah had said, “Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaster upon the boil, and he shall recover.†(Isa. 38:21)
Use the foods, herbs, and methods that God reveals to you for your healing and health!
And he went forth unto the spring of waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters…So the waters were healed unto this day… (2 Ki. 2:21,22)
But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot. (2 Ki. 4:41)
Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities. (Note: For medicinal purposes only Timothy was to use a little wine for his stomach ailment as God instructed. 1 Tim. 5:23)
A willful replacing of God for healing with Doctors can be destructive! Even if we go to a Doctor we should still seek God for our healing and repent of our sins!
And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceedingly great: yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians. And Asa slept with his fathers and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign. (2 Chr. 16:12,13)
Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the Lord. (Jer. 17:5)
Even if you go to a Doctor remember that it is God who does all the healing in your body and the one who should receive all the glory and recognition!
…for I am the Lord that healeth thee. (Ex. 15:26)
I taugh Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them. (Hos. 11:3)
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. (Ps. 121:1,2)
The Lord is thy keeper: (Ps. 121:5)
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. (Ps. 115:1)
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. (Deut. 32:39)

WHAT IS THE BIBLICAL PERSCRIPTION FOR DIVINE HEALING?

1. Awake out of your sinful living and return to the Lord! Be willing to repent and live right!
Come and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten and he will bind us up. (Hos. 6:1)
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. (Ps. 119:176)
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (Rev. 3:19)
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 51:9,100
2. Acknowledge your offences and confess your sins so you can be cleansed!
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face; on their affliction they will seek me early. (Hos. 5:15)
We acknowledge, O Lord, O Lord, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee. (Jer. 14:20)
Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. (Ps. 120:2)
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. (Jam. 5:16)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 Jn. 1:9)
Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. (Ps. 51:2,3)
3. Humbly plead your case before Almighty God! Seek His mercy, forgiveness and healing as you Commit your life to the Lord!
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. And it came to pass…that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah…thus sayeth the Lord…I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee…And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; (2 Ki. 20:1-6)
Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law. Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word…I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word. Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness. Thy word is true from the beginning: and everyone of thy righteous judgments endureth forever. (Ps. 119:153-160)
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Unless thy law had been my delights, I should have then perished in mine affliction. I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me. (Ps. 119:67,92,93)
Look upon my affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. Keep my soul and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. (Ps. 25:18,20,21)

Yeshuah will separate the sheep from the goats. The goats will go into the lake of fire. The sheep will get to stay with him. Who is HE? He is Jesus/Yeshuah/Yeshua the only one who can forgive, and the only one who CAN give grace for your soul to be saved. KJB1611, Luke 13: 23 Then said...
