We understand your concerns and fears regarding the vaccines that are being developed and distributed worldwide. It's important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, and we can trust in Him to guide and protect us. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
First, let's address the elephant in the room. There is no mention of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!
Is the vaccine an issue of the heart, mind, and actions for salvation or an issue of physical well-being? The real issue that needs to be discussed is one of faith and salvation through Jesus Christ. Get that issue settled first. If you believe in Jesus, then you have the Holy Spirit. If you do not, then you do not have the Holy Spirit. You need to have a relationship with Jesus Christ to even be heard by God.
John 9:31 WEB
We know that God doesn't listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens to him.
Assuming that you have a relationship with Jesus Christ and salvation has been settled, let's discuss the vaccination issue.
In all circumstances, we should strive to live by faith and not by fear. It's crucial to seek God's will and wisdom in every situation, including concerns about vaccines. As it is written in Isaiah 26:3 WEB:
You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.
We should also be mindful of the principles of obedience to authorities, as outlined in Romans 13:1-2 WEB:
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.
However, when human authorities demand something that goes against God's law or our conscience, we must obey God rather than men. As it is written in Acts 5:29 WEB:
But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men."
It is very important to note that getting a vaccination or not getting a vaccination is not a salvation issue. The purpose of salvation is to take care of the heart, mind, and actions of man, but not his physical well-being. That is an issue of science and medicine. It is similar to the case of whether to use a doctor or not. Some believe in using a doctor and some do not. Either way, we should pray for wisdom and guidance.
If you are uncertain about whether to take a vaccine or not, pray for God's wisdom and discernment. As it is written in James 1:5 WEB:
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your guidance and protection. We ask that You grant Anonymous and their family wisdom and discernment regarding the vaccines. Help them to trust in You and not be overcome by fear. Guide them in making decisions that honor You and keep them safe. Give them courage to stand firm in their faith and to obey You above all else.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
